Santa is coming
The jolly man himself will once again be taking a few days off to come and meet all the good boys and girls at Faversham Miniature Railway. Therefore, throughout December we will be operating our hugely popular Santa Specials for you and your family.
Take a perk-you-up winter ride around the only 9” Gauge Railway in the country open to the public, before being whisked across to our Santa temporary home away from the North pole to visit the man himself.
Santa will take the time to listen to all requests for this year’s presents, before handing out a small and usually edible present, for each of your little ones.
Please be aware that due to circumstances outside of our control we are unable to provide the free mince pies and mulled wine that we have in the past.
This year our FastPass Tickets will be available to purchase later this year at:
- £3.50 per Child
- £1.50 Per Adult
Important Information about the event
Don’t forget to wrap up warm though as we unfortunately cannot guarantee the weather so come dressed for the North Pole!
This year we will be using our FastPass Style queue system, to further minimise the time people have to queue, whilst allowing us to sell tickets in advance and on the day. Don’t worry if you cant get a ticket in advance as we will be selling Anytime Tickets on the day..
Tickets do not guarantee the time you Ride the train or see Santa, instead they will allow entry to our queue from the allocated time, so if you have booked 13:00 on the 6th of December, you can join the queue any time from 13:00. This allows you the freedom in the knowledge that even if you are stuck in traffic you will not miss your ride and visit to Santa, whilst reducing the time you and your family stand around queuing.
This system allows us to spread the queue throughout the day, minimising the time you and your family wait for your journey to the North Pole.
Please remember our team are all volunteers, who work every so hard to make sure our society do everything in our power to minimise the time you wait and we all appreciate your patience whilst queuing. Also don’t forget Santa needs a break to feed the rain deer occasionally as well.
